Why I Want to be a Teacher
I want to be a first grade elementary school teacher beacuse I want to impact students lives. I love children and I love knowledge so teaching is the perfect way to combine the two. I get excited when I see a student understand a new concept. Also, I had many good memories when I was an elementary school teacher and I hope to have as much fun with my students as I had in elementary school.

Gina, you will have a great impact on the lives of your students -- perhaps more than you realize. Your first grade classroom will be full of activity and learning, but perhaps the greatest gift that you can give to your students is to love them for who they are and who they will become.
That's great that you want to teach younger kids! First grade is a very important year for kids and I think that you are compassionate and a loving person. You will do great.
